A Safe Place Domestic Violence Shelter
A Safe Place is a domestic violence shelter serving Jefferson County and the Greater St. Louis area, providing residential services and emergency shelter for women and children escaping domestic violence.
A Safe Place provides advocacy, therapy, and education to help break the cycle of violence, while offering life-enhancing skills to empower women and children to live productive, healthy lives. Since most of the women and children come to A Safe Place with very limited resources, all services are offered free of charge.
By purchasing a ticket or being an event sponsor, you are directly supporting the day-to-day operating expenses of this life-saving program.
A Safe Place is supported by financial gifts, grants, volunteer time and services, and donations of supplies. Donations are tax deductible to the extent of the law. COMTREA is a private, non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
