Children's Advocacy Center of East Central Missouri
The Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) is a collaborative effort to improve the response to allegations of child abuse and neglect by following the ChildFirst doctrine.
The CAC accomplishes this through digitally-recorded forensic (fact finding) interviews, sexual abuse forensic examinations, advocacy, mental health referrals, training and coordination of multidisciplinary teams, case review and tracking, and community awareness and education regarding child abuse issues. All services to clients are free of charge.
By purchasing a ticket or being an event sponsor, you are directly supporting the CAC’s ability to provide life-changing services to clients in need.
The CAC is supported by financial gifts, grants, volunteer time and services, and donations of supplies. All donations are tax deductible to the extent of the law. COMTREA is a private, non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
