A PLACE WHERE YOU CAN LEARN AND GROW
COMTREA offers a wonderful intern program that is designed to give students supervised, practical experience within the profession. Students are able to integrate and synthesize theories and techniques learned in the classroom in a real work setting. We help develop personal qualities, characteristics, and behaviors of professionals, while promoting the transition from "trainee" to "professional practitioner." We contract with area schools to provide these services. Please check with your faculty advisers to ensure we have a contract in place with your school.

"I appreciate that I don't have to worry about speaking my opinion or suggestion. I know that my supervisor and the Leadership Team/Board will listen to my ideas, and I I will be respected even if the suggestions are not accepted."
"I love the encouragement and support from supervisors and staff. My supervisors have been approachable and helpful. I love to use my personal experience in mental health diagnosis to help clients know they are not alone and learn to manage their symptoms to live a fuller life. I am proud to work at COMTREA, because of how the staff reach out to help each other as well as clients."
"The most satisfying aspect with this organization is that all of the departments work together towards one common goal, providing our community with a caring and up-to-date facility with both mental and medical departments available."
