The impacts of domestic violence in the area is discussed, including how the shelter serves residents through housing and therapy, among other services. Tenholder and Thomas expressed how A Safe Place services have been and will continue changing due to COVID-19 and the opening of transitional housing or Mary's House of Hope at A Safe Place.
