COMTREA On The Air - National Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Topic: Barb Tenholder, Director of A Safe Place, and Norinee Thomas, Manager of Therapeutic Services at A Safe Place, spoke on National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The impacts of domestic violence in the area is discussed, including how the shelter serves residents through housing and therapy, among other services.  Tenholder and Thomas expressed how A Safe Place services have been and will continue changing due to COVID-19 and the opening of transitional housing or Mary's House of Hope at A Safe Place.
