...the newest division of COMTREA Comprehensive Health Center!
For 40 years COMTREA has been an institution in Jefferson County and has built a national reputation for excellence in the treatment of mental illness and addictions. Our services are expanding once again and will now include comprehensive primary, preventive and oral health to persons of all ages regardless of their ability to pay. Our enhanced approach will be cutting edge and focus not just on “treatment”, but on overall “health and wellness”.
We will provide a variety of supports from traditional medicine to developing sciences - including equine and canine therapies. Horses, dogs, a fishing pond, walking path, meditation koi pond and numerous flower gardens will provide a peaceful environment for people coming to COMTREA for help with life’s challenges. The home for our integrated health care center is Bridle Ridge Acres - a historical 45 acre horse farm located just outside the county seat in Hillsboro.
Bridle Ridge Acres is a work in progress and we welcome community partners. To volunteer your time or to provide donations please contact Liz Meyers at 636-232-2338 or
I am proud that COMTREA is leading this groundbreaking innovation out of Jefferson County and look forward to serving as a national model.
Thank you for helping us make this possible.
