COMTREA provides classes to help parents in the middle of a divorce understand the impact this will have on their children. Course content helps parents to minimize the disruption and confusion that their children may be experiencing as a result of the divorce. Supportive Parents is a two-hour course. Classes are pre-scheduled and offered monthly in Arnold on a Wednesday evening or a Saturday morning. Festus classes will be on a pre-scheduled Thursday evening.
Kids in Divorce Supported (K.I.D.S.) classes are offered concurrently with the adult classes. Contact our Suburban or South offices for details.
Selected COMTREA therapists have been extensively trained in Divorce Mediation. Referrals are made when parents cannot agree upon child-custody, visitation or child support. If parents qualify, up to four hours of mediation may be paid for through available grants.
COMTREA is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC).
